Theatre of Ballet Arts, Inc. is focused on raising the awareness of the cultural arts in Southwest Wisconsin and committed to presenting the dance arts.
Located in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, Theatre of Ballet Arts, Inc. (TOBA) is a non-profit, charitable, volunteer organization dedicated to bringing the dance arts to the citizens of Southwest Wisconsin.
Since 2008, TOBA has produced "The Nutcracker Ballet" biannually, giving more than one hundred local children and adults the opportunity to participate in this popular holiday ballet, both onstage and behind-the-scenes.
TOBA has also developed a repertoire of shorter story ballets for its Bedtime Ballet series, including "Peter and the Wolf," "The Pied Piper of Hamelin," and "Thumbelina."
In 2017, TOBA will present a new and original production, "The Carnival of the Animals" set to Camille Saint-Saens' suite of music by the same name.
"I am thrilled to work with members of TOBA and our local community to bring quality, locally produced ballets to the people of Southwestern Wisconsin. Through the work of many volunteers, people of all ages can experience the joy of participating in, or attending, our ballet productions."
~ Summer Hamille, Artistic Director
